Tom Brady, suspended no more

Tom Brady, the New England Patriots’ star quarterback has proven that he is elusive as ever. The four game suspension imposed by NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell has been lifted by a federal judge.

U.S. District Court Judge Richard Berman dismissed the suspension based primarily on notices Brady may or may not have received in regards to the fairness of the suspension that stemmed from the deflafe-gate controversy.

In his opinion, Judge Berman states Brady’s suspension was “premised upon several significant legal deficiencies.”

According to ESPN, Brady’s suspension being lifted has not only affected the NFL and Tom Brady, but also betting odds in Las Vegas. Now that Brady will be in the lineup for the season opener next Thursday, September 10, against the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Patriots moved from a three point favorite to a 6 1/2 point favorite.

The NFL is expected to appeal Berman’s decision. More to come in the developing story.
