John Fox lands with the Chicago Bears

Less than a week after amicably parting ways with the Denver Broncos, NFL head coach John Fox has been hired by the Chicago Bears. After a four year stint with the Broncos, in which his team went 46-18, winning four AFC West titles and making one Super Bowl appearance, Fox has signed a four year deal with the Bears on Friday, January 16.

Fox, who is 0-2 in Super Bowl appearances, is taking over a Bears team that went just 13-19 in its previous two seasons under head coach Mark Trestman. A press conference to officially announce Fox’s signing is scheduled for Monday. The Bear’s is the the third NFL team Fox has coached.
